Calendas

Calendas is a WordPress plugin that allows users to embed a full calendar on the own website. Calendar entries are locally stored. It is built on top of the new WordPress Editor “Gutenberg” and therefor really easy to use.

During development, special emphasis was placed on creating a lean codebase without compromising on quality.

The calendar engine is powered by Schedule-X (MIT). Combined with the features built-in the WordPress editor, this is the perfect choice.

Privacy by Design. The target groups are persons who care about privacy protection and prefer having a self hosted calendar.

Free. A basic version of the plugin can be downloaded free-of-charge from the WordPress Plugin directory. The source code has been licensed under GPLv2+ and ist available on Github.

PRO. A premium add-on is available for a one-time-fee. It comes with additional features like recurring events, import/migrate/export, RSVP and priority support.
