Bye bye, Internet Explorer
Today marks an important day in the Web. Microsoft has dropped support for old browsers. This affects Internet Explorer versions 8, 9 and 10.
For Web developers and suppliers of frameworks this step implies that these Browser versions are not supported anymore and will not be considered in the Testing activities anymore.
If you are still surfing with any of these browsers (find out if…), it is time to switch now. There are countless alternative free Browsers which guarantee a modern Surf experience, which are very safe due to automatic updates and which are easy to use.
Even importing your existing bookmarks and browser settings can be done automatically. So there is really no reason not to upgrade.
Did you know that even the name Internet Explorer is history since last year and has been replaced by the newly developed Microsoft Edge Browser in Windows 10?
