Monir

Monir is a jewellery designer based in Vienna.

My part in this project was the entire technical realization of a new website including a web shop. The appealing design with attention to details (modern typography, beautiful photos, proper proportions) has been provided.

Quite challenging was the development of the product portfolio with two separate filters incl. an infinite scrolling feature (autoloading of more products when scrolling down). Furthermore the administration of variable products, i.e. products that are available in different sizes and materials and can have varying pricing and stock availability, has been more complex than expected. But since WooCommerce is really an advanced plugin – even in the default configuration – all requirements could be implemented out-of-the-box without purchasing any costly add-ons.

The website has been launched within the tight timeline so that the autumn collection could be presented online and offered for sale before the summer ended.

A pixel perfect implementation and gimmicks like product image zoom, sticky elements and decent animations really set this site apart of similar web shops.
